Voorverkoop boekpublicatie China op de Kaap/ *Voorverkoop is afgelopen*
Na drie jaar China op de Kaap, gaan we een boekpublicatie uitgeven met de werktitel THUIS, community art door China op de Kaap!
Het wordt een prachtig boek waarin we de artistieke resultaten van ons onderzoek naar het thuisgevoel onder de Chinese gemeenschap in Nederland presenteren. Aan de hand van bekende werken zoals de Chinese Moestuin, Afscheidsfoto, Theetantes, Cooking up Stories, Kaap aan tafel en Boodschappentassenruil tonen we het voor ons zo specifieke thuisgevoel van de Chinese cultuur.
Het is een verzameling van wat we de afgelopen drie jaar hebben gedaan aan community art projecten, van het proces tot het eindresultaat. Je ziet dat veel van ons werk tot stand is gekomen in samenwerking met de Chinese gemeenschap zelf, bewoners van Katendrecht, maar ook andere betrokkenen. Hun ervaringen en verhalen hebben we gebruikt voor het maken van bijvoorbeeld een fotoserie, een kunstinstallatie of performance.
Met het boek willen we ook een positieve bijdrage leveren aan de identiteit van de Chinese gemeenschap in Nederland, deze zichtbaar maken en de misvattingen en stereotyperingen wegnemen door een ander perspectief op de Chinese gemeenschap te laten zien.

Inschrijving voorverkoop
Wie zich nu inschrijft krijgt het boek voor de gereduceerde prijs van €25,- (exclusief verzendkosten). Bovendien draag je dan bij aan het realiseren van onze publicatie, word je naam vermeld in het colofon en word je op de hoogte gehouden van de voortgang van het boek.
Na 20 april 2014 zal het boek €32,- gaan kosten. In juni gaan we het boek feestelijk presenteren. Als deelnemer aan onze voorverkoop word je te zijner tijd uiteraard uitgenodigd voor deze heugelijke presentatie waar je tevens jouw bestelde boek(en) kan ophalen.
Limited Edition
Boek + unieke print (20 x 25 cm) + zadenpakket (gelimiteerde oplage 15)
Je kunt vanaf vandaag ook intekenen voor een limited edition van slechts 15 stuks. Deze bestaat uit een genummerde en gesigneerde oplage. OP = OP, dus wees er snel bij!
Bij ieder boek ontvang je een exclusieve print van één foto uit het boek (20 x 25 cm t.w.v. €350,-) en een speciaal samengesteld pakket van zaden voor Chinese en Nederlandse groenten en kruiden. Deze limited edition inclusief print en zadenpakket kost €250,- (exclusief verzendkosten).
